Biomedical’s 2013 JORTEC: "A Glance at the Future"
What is done in this future, but not futuristic, area of engineering called Biomedical? At the Biomedical’s 2013 JORTEC the CP-MIEBM wants, through lectures and workshops, to show recent projects and work tools that will help you further along the road.
Mission
Being Biomedical Engineering a multidisciplinary course, the Comissão Pedagógica de Engenharia Biomédica (CP-MIEBM) in a partnership with the Núcleo de Biomédica da Nova (NBN) wants to promote the opportunities and initiatives this area has to offer, with particular emphasis on companies and entities connected to the medical sector, amongst others.
Considering this, and with this purpose, we will organize on the week of 18th February 2013, the Biomedical JORTEC, at the FCT Campus (Caparica).
This initiative has no cost for the participant and is a non-for-profit event.

Description
On the week of 18th to 22nd February, at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL), the JORnadas TECnológicas - JORTEC (in english, "Technological Journeys") will occur, an event organized by the Pedagogical Commissions of the several courses with the support and collaboration of the Students Association. This event is directed for students, professors, researchers and companies from all over the country.
JORTEC’s objectives are to give its participants the chance to know more about the best that is being done in the different areas taught at the college and to boost this kind of events amongst the students.

Na semana de 18 a 22 de Fevereiro, na Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL) ocorrerão as JORnadas TECnológicas - JORTEC, um evento organizado pelas Comissões Pedagógicas dos diversos cursos com o apoio e colaboração da Associação de Estudantes. Este evento está direccionado para Alunos, Docentes, Investigadores e Empresas de todo o país.
