Nina Amelung is Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate in the Innovation in Governance Research Group at the Department of Sociology,Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.

She is a social scientist and studied sociology, political science and psychology at the Rheinisch-WestfälischeTechnischeHochschule Aachen and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The subject of her diploma thesis was "Sustainable Development and Quality of Life: The Relevance of Environment for the Subjective Wellbeing".

Entre Setembro de 1989 e Janeiro de 1991, leccionei na então Escola C+S de Arraiolos. Nesta última data, ingressei na Universidade de Évora, onde me encontro actualmente, como docente do Departamento de Pedagogia e Educação.

Daniel Cadet

Daniel L. Cadet got his Master in 1973 at Ecole Normale Supérieure/Ulm and his PhD in Physics in 1980 at Ecole Polytechnique. After several years at the French Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as an Associated Researcher he moved to the US to take a Faculty Position at the Department of Meteorology at Florida State University. He came back to France in 1985 to take up a Senior Researcher position at CNRS while teaching at several universities (Paris 6, Toulouse and Clermont-Ferrand).

João Caraça

João Caraça obtained the D. Phil. in Nuclear Physics at the University of Oxford (1973) and the Agregação in Physics at the Lisbon Faculty of Sciences (1974).

He is Director of the Science Department of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon. João Caraça is also Full Professor of Science and Technology Policy at the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão of the Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. He was coordinator of the M.Sc. Course in the Economics and Management of Science and Technology from 1990 to 2003.
