The city of Lisbon has excellent infrastructure and so enjoys superb public transport facilities that service all areas of the city. The fastest way to get around is by metro, it has four lines, runs regularly, and covers most of the city. Complementing this is a network of trams, buses, funiculars and a vertical lift to connect the high and low areas of Lisbon.
