How to reach CCL 2011
CCL 2011 will take place at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia-Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT-UNL). The conference will take place at the Library Auditorium located in the Library Building.
Directions (by car, from Lisbon Airport to FCT-UNL)
Go west on the 2 Circular expressway, pass Campo Grande and get off at the Eixo Norte-Sul exit. Follow the signs that lead to A2 Sul and to the Ponte 25 de Abril bridge.
Once over the bridge stay in the right lane and get off at the first exit that says "Costa da Caparica". This exit will take you onto another roadway.
After about 1 km get off at the second exit that says Universidade/Porto Brandao. After exiting, drive about 75 m until you come to a roundabout.
Once there follow the signs that indicate the way to the University ("Universidade").
You will receive directions on how to reach the campus building from the security guards at the entrance. Alternatively you can use the campus map posted at the page conference website.
Directions using public transportation from the Airport to Costa da Caparica
Take a Carris bus, number 44, 83 or 745 (fare is 1.55€; one suitcase per person only), or the Aerobus (fare is 3.50€), from the airport to Lisboa. Get off at Campo Pequeno, at the junction of Av da Republica and Av de Berna (look for a large bullfighting ring to your left). The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Then, on Av de Berna, take a TST bus, number 161, to Costa da Caparica (which is the destination of the bus). Get off at Av General Humberto Delgado. Fare is 2.95€ and the journey takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Taxis from Lisbon International Airport will take 20-30 minutes and should cost about 40-50 Euros. Taxis are available outside the terminal building.
Directions using public transportation from Costa da Caparica to FCT
The Organizing Committee will arrange transportation from Hotel Costa de Caparica to the Conference Venue every morning back to the hotel after the last session.
If it is necessary for you to make your own way, you may take a TST bus, number 124 (slow, about 30 minutes; destination Cacilhas) or number 194 (fast, about 15 minutes; destination Pragal). Get on at Av General Humberto Delgado. Get off at the Universidade stop which is at a large roundabout. Fare is 2.05€.
Directions using public transportation from Lisboa to Costa da Caparica
You may take the TST bus number 161 as described above, or number 153 which departs from Praca de Espanha. Fare is 2.95€ and the journey takes 30 to 45 minutes.
Directions using public transportation from Lisboa to Costa da Caparica
Go to the train station Entrecampos and get into one of the trains operated by Fertagus, with destination Setubal or Coina. Get out at Pragal and, at the same interface, get into the surface subway with destination Universidade operated by MST. Get out at Universidade (the end of the subway line).
