This course is a joint organization of the Portuguese Operational Research Society (APDIO) and Centro de Matemática e Aplicações (CMA).

The course is aimed to researchers interested in Global Optimization and will be lectured by Prof. Immanuel Bomze (University of Vienna).

The event will take place in Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia in Caparica during November 19 2010.

Prof. Bomze is a renown author in Operations Research and his main interests are Optimization Theory, Game Theory and Dynamical Systems.
