• 04/September/2011 -- Professor Narayanaswamy Balakrishnan had to cancel his trip to Portugal because of familiar issues. Professor Carlos Agra Coelho has kindly accepted our last minute invitation and will deliver a Keynote Talk on the 6th. Professor Wolfgang Polasek will be the Keynote Speaker on the 5th (instead of the 6th as in the Scientific Program).

• 09/August/2011 -- In this meeting we will give three awards(three books kindly offered by the CRC Press) to the best papers. The award committee for the first fase was:

  • Anne Leucht
  • Alicia Nieto

    This Committee sellected three papers which will be ranked based on the oral presentations.

• 05/November/2010 -- We are pleased to announce a small budget to provide partial support for a limited number of participants from developing countries (http://www.icce2010.org/docs/developingCountries.pdf), i.e. .Bulgaria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, Russia and Turkey. To apply please send a copy of your CV and a cover letter including: why you need the support, the amount requested, and how you will cover the remaining costs to participate in the Conference. Please send you application to 17eysm@gmail.com with the subject "Financial support" by April 17, 2011. We want to have the "best" participants regardless of their financial constraints!
