1. Accommodation

There are several options for accommodation near the FCT-NOVA campus.

Special prices are available for the conference participants in the following hotels:

If you decide to stay in Almada, there are other accommodation options from which you can easily reach FCT-NOVA campus by tram.

Alternatively, you may prefer to stay in Lisbon if you intend to enjoy this beautiful city. If that is the case, there are numerous accommodation options, and if you choose one that is close to a subway station, it will be easy to reach the conference venue (see below - Transportation from Lisbon).

2. Transportation

The FCT-NOVA campus is reachable by tram or bus.

Tram MTS Line 3 - stop "Universidade".

Bus TST Lines 124, 125, 126, 127, and 158 - stop "Torre de Caparica (Univ/FCT)".

Transportation from Lisbon

If you are coming from Lisbon, there are three options to cross the Tagus river and get to the FCT-NOVA campus:

1. Ferry boat - You can cross the river by ferry boat from Cais do Sodré (Lisbon) to Cacilhas (Almada). When in Cacilhas, get on the tram to Universidade. The 10-min ferry boat journey provides a beautiful view of Lisbon.
2. Train - You can cross the Bridge "25 de Abril" by catching a train (Fertagus) at one these stations: Campolide, Sete Rios, Entrecampos, and Roma-Areeiro. You must get off the train at Pragal (the first station after the bridge) and get the tram to Universidade.
3. Bus - There is a direct bus to the FCT-NOVA campus from Praça de Espanha - TST Bus 158.
