The intention of the workshop is to provide theoretical and practical training in important aspects of aligned media for residual dipolar couplings (RDC) measurements on small molecules. The emphasis will be on setting up experiments on the spectrometer (optimizing parameters, pulse programs), preparing samples as well as processing and analysing the NMR data. 
Since it is impossible to teach all the necessary theoretical background of modern NMR spectroscopy in such limit of time it is required prior knowledge on basic understanding of NMR. Therefore, the course is aimed for PhD students, postdocs and technicias who have some working knowledge of NMR theory.
