Nowadays Pedro is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at IST-IBB, he is a Master in Biological Engineering and a Ph.D. in BioEngineering Systems, MIT-Portugal Program, Instituto Superior Técnico, Portugal. Previously he worked on the clinical expansion of mesenchymal stem cells and currently focuses on their application in the hematopoietic system. Prior to starting his PhD Pedro worked as an intern at Unilever, NL.

Nowadays Dr. Alexandre Camões Barbosa is a physiatrist at the Centro Hospitalar de Lisboa Central, as well as a collaborator at the Clínica das Conchas. He graduated at the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa in Medicine, specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He post-graduated in Sports Medicine and in Philosophy. Areas of interest: electro physical agents, neurorehabilitation, pain, botulinum toxin and sports medicine. Research area: botulinum toxin.

Nowadays, Professor Dr. Durval Campos Costa has several occupations, such as: Nuclear Medicine Director at the Centro Clínico Champalimaud; Clinical and Scientific Coordinator at the HPP Medicina Molecular; Managing Partner and Founder of the LMN – Laboratório de Medicina Nuclear. He is also Coordinator Professor at ESTEsL and Professor and Director of the subject of Imagiologia at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
He graduated in Medicine at Universidade do Porto, specializing in Nuclear Medicine and took a PhD later in the same area.

Nowadays Dr. Abel González Oliva is the project leader of the Biomolecular Diagnostic Laboratory and Researcher at the Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica / Universidade Nova de Lisboa (ITQB/UNL). He graduated from Universidad de Buenos Aires / Argentina in Agronomy, later he took a Master’s degree and PhD in Agricultural Science at Universität Hohenheim /Stuttgart/ Germany.

Nowadays, Dr. Mário Secca is a Professor of Biophysics at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologias da Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Medical Physicist at Hospital Garcia d’Orta and at the Magnetic Resonance Imaging clinic of Caselas. He has a bachelorette in Physics with Mathematics from the University of Sussex , England, as well as a PhD in Physics of  Solid Matter specialty Low Temperatures.

Nowadays Dr. Jorge Silva is the main researcher of the project Skin2 (a new biosynthetic skin conceived to treat burnt patients) at CEFITEC. He graduated in Physics at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra and later became a Doctorate in Physics, specialty of Surface Physics, at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa and at the Université de Pris-Sud in February 2003.
