We are pleased to announce the 1st Doctoral Conference in Civil Engineering, which will be held on March 7 at the Department of Civil Engineering of NOVA School of Science and Technology.
The purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for the PhD students working at Civil Engineering Department of NOVA to meet and present their research to their fellow PhD students and to all interested colleagues of the school, invited guests, and investigators from universities and other research institutions.  

All PhD students at more advanced stages of their study are invited to attend, present and act as a discussant during student presentation sessions. PhD students at early stages of their dissertation (in year 1) are also encouraged to attend and submit their abstract for poster presentations if they wish. There will be a Best Presentation Award and a Best Poster Award.
