Rajat Mukherjee, PhD, has been working in the pharmaceutical industry as a statistical consultant for almost 20 year. Before joining the industry, Rajat served in academia teaching Biostatistics and in public health designing complex epidemiological and observational studies.
His main areas of interest are: Adaptive and Innovative clinical trial design, application of Machine Learning for biomarker discoveries and for medical diagnostics and Bayesian statistics. His current position is Chief Statistical Consultant at Mukherjee-Consultants, a boutique statistical consulting firm in Barcelona, Spain, which he founded in early 2023. Rajat obtained his bachelors degree in statistics from the University of Calcutta (now Kolkata), India, masters degree in biostatistics from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, USA and his PhD from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA.
Other than being truely passionate about the applications of statistical science to medicine and climate-change, Rajat is a student of Indian classical music and enjoys playing sport such as table tennis, cricket and volleyball.
