ABSTRACT RULES

We are proposing two options for the abstracts:

i) a plain abstract  (see template below)

or

ii) a short paper (see rules below).

The abstracts (including those for the short papers) will be published in the Abstract Book of the conference; the short papers will be published in a special volume of the journal Ciências da Terra | Journal of Earth Sciences.

Submit your abstract: e-mail a DOC or DOCX file to eavp2018@campus.fct.unl.pt, specifying “EAVP 2018 abstract First Author’s surname” in the e-mail subject.

PRESENTATIONS

Beside traditional Posters and Oral Communications, we propose an innovative presentation mode, in the form of Video Presentations (the author must be present at the congress).

For oral communications or videos, each participant will be given a total of 15 minutes (10/12 min. talk or video + 5/3 min. questions). Please, be aware that the time schedules must be respected. Poster sessions will be concomitant with the coffee breaks.

Featured abstracts presented for Oral Communications will be given 15 extra minutes.
