Iberian Award

Under the auspices of the Portuguese Society of Rheology and the Spanish Rheology Group (RSEF and RSEQ)

An Iberian award will be given to the most distinguished PhD Thesis in Rheology, each two years, by the Portuguese Society of Rheology (SPR) and the Spanish Rheology Group (GER / RSEF and RSEQ), that will guarantee the provision of funds for the prize.

The delivery of the award will take place during the Iberian Meeting on Rheology, Ibereo.

Short Advanced Rheology Course

The Course will be given by:

Dr. Carlos Gracia Fernandez (PhD in Applied Physics and Vocal of the Commitee of the Rheology Spanish Group)

In the Course there will be two main topics:
 

Non Linear viscoelastic measurements. LAOS (Large amplitude Oscillation shear). (3 hours)

Scientific Committee

Introduction

Following the two previous and successful Iberian Rheology Meetings (Beja 2004 and Madrid  2008) the Ibereo 2011 will be organized with the auspices of the Portuguese Society of Rheology (SPR) and the Spanish Rheology Group (GER), and intends to offer the opportunity to find out new advances in different topics and meet with academia and industrial researchers.
