Dr. Anuji Abraham is an Associate Scientific Director and ssNMR Team leader in the Materials Science and Engineering Division in Product Development at Bristol Myers Squibb, New Jersey, USA. She received her Ph.D. from Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering, ETH-Zurich, Switzerland, and worked as a postdoctoral/research fellow at EPFL-Lausanne, Switzerland, Durham University, UK and the University of West Virginia, USA.

Juan Araneda obtained his M.Sc. (2011) and Ph.D. (2015) in Chemistry at the University of Calgary in Canada. Shortly after graduation, he joined Nanalysis, a manufacturer of low-field, high-resolution benchtop Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectrometers, as an application chemist.

He spent a year as a NATO postdoctoral fellow at the University of New Brunswick, Canada, before joining the University of Bayreuth, Germany, as a staff scientist working on macromolecular chemistry.

Federico is a specialist in the development of hardware and methodologies for portable and desktop NMR systems. He got his PhD in physics in 2001 in Cordoba, Argentina and move to Germany with an Alexander von Humboldt fellowship to join the group of Prof. Blümich at the RWTH University in Aachen. After two years as a postdoctoral fellow he remained at the RWTH as project leader where he worked on several projects in basic and applied research areas related to mobile and benchtop NMR.

During this time she did several industrial placements at pharmaceutical industries (Pharmhispania, Spain, and Genentech, SF, USA) where she studied protein-antibody interactions. She then moved to Cambridge, UK, to do a post-doc in structural biology and protein NMR at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology.

Post doctorate in determination of structure, dynamics and function of virus proteins by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), at the University of Pennsylvania, 1983 to 1985 and 1991 to 1992, whose results led him to be a co-author of an article that was on the cover of Science magazine on May 31, 1991.

Pedro José Sebastião is an experimental physics professor with the Department of Physics of Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. Following the work for his Ph.D. thesis, in 1993, on molecular dynamics in liquid crystals with peculiar polymorphisms by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxometry, he has investigated a large number of condensed matter systems using NMR.
