Nina Amelung is Research Associate and Doctoral Candidate in the Innovation in Governance Research Group at the Department of Sociology,Technische Universität Berlin, Germany.

She is a social scientist and studied sociology, political science and psychology at the Rheinisch-WestfälischeTechnischeHochschule Aachen and the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. The subject of her diploma thesis was "Sustainable Development and Quality of Life: The Relevance of Environment for the Subjective Wellbeing".
